Proposal: Utilizing the interactive fiction platform Twine, students will write a “What If?” memoir. The goal of this project is for students to look back at a pivotal moment, reflection, or period in their life and craft a cohesive narrative about who they were then and who they are now. But life is rarely a straight line. Every day, we face micro-choices and major turning points that could have radically altered our path. Twine will allow students to craft a narrative where the readers can see how their lives might have changed based off of those small decisions.
