    Fall 2025 - CITL Faculty Fellow - Kayleigh O'Keeffe, Ph.D

    Name: Kayleigh O'Keeffe

    Title: Teaching Assistant Professor

College/Department: College of Arts and Sciences/Biological Sciences

Course: BIOS 045 - Integrative and Comparative Biology

    Student Enrollment: 120

Proposal: BIOS 045 is a lab course that involves students experimentally applying what they have learned in a complementing lecture course. The proposed project would leverage generative AI to help students design an experiment by first evaluating what is already known on the topic. The collaboration with CITL will provide AI tools to test and experiment with to identify best functionality and existing limitations.

CITL/I&O Collaborators: Holly Zakos, Jeremy Mack, Jim Monek, Tricia Martone
